It has been a busy couple of weeks for the Bonham and Kines families. We have had some major changes on the missions front that have kept us working long days and some very long nights. The video below explains the changes before us and the reasons for them. We have also attached a link to the letter that we sent to supporting churches and individuals if you would prefer to read about these changes.
That said, we do want to give at least a thumb nail sketch of what the Lord has been doing. As our time for departure to Costa Rica has drawn closer and closer, Gary Waldecker, MTW veteran missionary and head of the apprenticeship program we will be starting in our first two years on the field, has been communicating with the team in Costa Rica concerning some of the challenges the program was facing in the partnership with the young Costa Rican team. Though the location and ministry objectives in Costa Rica are still a good fit for the apprenticeship program, the timing for such a program might be a little premature for a ministry that is just getting off the ground in Costa Rica. As we began exploring options ranging from doing part of the training in Costa Rica and part on a new field to relocating the whole program to another location altogether, the Lord opened an exciting door. With much prayer and discussion with several members of the MTW staff and team, we have decided to walk through that door and move our first two years of ministry preparation to Bogota, Colombia. The video below will explain in greater depth the reasons for that move and the blessings we believe the Lord is providing through it.
We invite you to pray for us as we make all the necessary adjustments that this move will require. We also ask you to pray for the Lord to continue to provide the money necessary for us to be on the field in August 2012.

We are praying for you and know your journey is incredible…even now. I will continue to pray that more people will JUMP ON BOARD and support
you guys!!!
